Eating a vegan diet is good for your health and can help prevent many civilization diseases like osteoporosis, diabetes, obesity, etc. Eating animal products poses various health risks.


Also, many athletes eat vegan, because a well-balanced and planned vegan lifestyle can help to increase and maximize your athletic performance. It has the decisive advantage that it is usually lower in fat than a diet including animal products and at the same time rich in carbohydrates and fiber.


For instance, Germany’s Strongest Man 2011, Patrik Baboumian, is vegan, as well as many other athletes like Ryan Stills, Pat Reeves, Rob Bigwood, Heather Mills, Vivian Kong, etc. Already athletes in the Roman Empire often followed a vegan diet in preparation for duels. That was so long ago, but they already knew it;)
