Strawberry Milk

Last week I scrolled through a ton of YouTube videos and I saw this delicious-looking strawberry milk. It is famous in Korea where it is often sold as street food. Originally, it is made with chunks of strawberries, sugar, heavy cream and milk. To make it vegan, we simply used oat milk and an extra heavy, super-creamy oat milk. This recipe is extremely delicious, easy and fun to make and we promise, you would want to drink it every single day! Additionally, you could also name this milk 'Strawberry Latte' by adding just a slight amount of fresh coffee. So, if you are up to trying a new, fancy drink, get to it!

Strawberry Milk Ingredients

Our strawberry milk consists of fresh strawberries, oat milk and a heavy & creamy oat milk.

  • Fresh strawberries - They are the star of this recipe and make this drink super fresh & naturally sweet. We swap the sweet strawberry puree for just simple & freshly cut strawberries.

  • Oat milk - Oat milk flavor and foam make it a much better cow milk substitute, but feel free to use your favorite!

  • Creamy, Heavy Oat milk - Super important! Instead of using a regular heavy milk from cows we tried out the “Coffee Mate Bliss (Oat Plain Non-Dairy)” from Nestle

We used this oat beverage to create this amazingly creamy drink!

Strawberry Milk Tips

  • Change it up! - Try your own variations. You might want to add additional sweetener (brown sugar, etc.) or try out another berry (raspberry could work as well ;) ). The key ingredient to this recipe is fun!

  • Taste and Adjust - Whenever you make this milk at home, taste and adjust to find a balance of flavors you love. Your favorite does not need to be ours but maybe you get inspired to create your own. Best Tip: To turn your Strawberry Milk into a Latte, simply add a shot espresso. :))
